About Us

Chadwick Division of GEI Consultants, Inc. is a full service aquatic biological laboratory, with 25 years experience in the analysis of a wide variety of biological and water quality samples for private industry, academia, municipalities, and State and Federal agencies throughout the United States.  We provide laboratory analyses of aquatic biological samples (especially invertebrate and algae), nutrient chemistry, and an array of whole effluent toxicity testing.  Our laboratory has successfully completed audits by the US Geological Survey for our biological sample processing and US EPA for our WET testing. Our toxicity testing procedures follow EPA approved methods and requirements. All toxicity test results are documented in a report with the information necessary for your discharge monitoring report. We participate in both the acute and chronic portions of the EPA DMR-QA studies and Chadwick Division is certified for WET testing of municipal, mining, and industrial effluents by a number of states.

Consulting Services

 Chadwick Division also provides extensive knowledge in analyses of aquatic ecosystems covering a wide range of environments (from small streams to large reservoirs) and a wide range of potential stressors to aquatic life (from municipal effluents to mining to flow modifications to habitat).
