Benthic Invertebrate Sample Processing

Chadwick Divison of GEI Consultants has been providing benthic invertebrate sample processing services for over 25 years.  This service has been overseen since 1980 by Steven Canton.  Steve has a M.S. in stream ecology from Colorado State University and 30 years experience in the identification of aquatic invertebrates.  Our primary taxonomists have a combined 25 yrs experience - all with our company.  Combined with the long-term supervision by Mr. Canton, this unparalleled experience base gives us not only the scientific knowledge, but a consistency of identifications over time rarely found in other laboratories.

We have provided analysis of aquatic biological samples for a variety of clients over the years, including the federal government (e.g. US Geological Survey, US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management), as well as state and local agencies, and a number of consulting firms.
